Host rules
- A booking is considered as confirmed after Blankbox studio receives cleared balance payment
- Bookings times start as per confirmed time and if a client is late, booking fees may be incurred from the agreed booking time.
- Set Up and Take downtime must be included within the hours booked, to avoid overtime charges.
- Studio or venue space must be left in a reasonable state at the end of client booking to avoid additional cleaning charges (at the discretion of Blankbox Studio.
- Clients must abide by booking requirements agreed in advance for a total number of attendees. As our rates are dependent on the total number of attendees, an increase may incur relevant additional charges.
- We have a Maximum number of attendees which depend on space being hired and this is to be advised prior to bookings. The specified maximum attendees must not be exceeded for security and safety reasons and we reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a booking if a venue spa
- Clients must ensure that all minors under the age of 16 are always accompanied by a chaperone. Minors must have parent's or guardian’s permission to be at our premises, and/or to be photographed or filmed as relevant.
- If your booking comes with lighting, sound or other equipment, all equipment used must be returned promptly at the end of the hire period in the original condition, and the client is liable for repair or replacement cost for any missing or damaged equipment.
- Breakages, Losses and Damages | Clients are responsible for any breakages, losses or damages caused to the premises or equipment by the client, or any other person(s) during booking time.
- Blankbox Studio may terminate any booking or hire contract if the client is found to be in breach of any of the terms and conditions.
- No smoking in the building

Accommodating to requests on the day, we were allowed to use some extra kit. We had a woman called Mia with us on the day and she was extremely helpful and knowledgable with the kit. She swapped out our camera, let us use her laptop when ours wasn’t working and helped us troubleshoot some problems. Easy to connect to the high quality speaker and play our own music.
Bad communication - slow replies on email, couldn’t reach them by phone. No confirmation of kit we were able to use until the day before the shoot. No confirmation of backdrop colours, the ones I requested were not there on the day, had to use another colour that I was not happy with. Some kit listed was inaccurate. Had requested to use a Canon camera, was given a Sony with a faulty lens.

The studio was in a good location, lift was available and parking was also available. Ryan was friendly, helpful and super attentive! He helped us set our equipment up and was very supportive! Studio music was great too!

Unhelpful and dishonest, they had double booked the studio and when I phoned up to ask, they pretty much didn’t believe me and said it was my own fault and it wasn’t theirs. They offered a refund after realising they were in the wrong, but then never got back to me and never refunded me. I had to go through Tag Venue to get the refund. Don’t bother booking here
