About this space

Atop Number 10’s grand marble staircase, the Barnard Room's views of The Mall through it's floor to ceiling windows and grand chandeliers give this charming room a touch of regal elegance. Its most unusual feature, and one of the venues biggest mysteries is an ornate yet unfinished Trompe l’oeil painted ceiling, commissioned by the Ridley family in the style of Eugene Delacroix - leader of the French Romantic school.

It is recommended that the Barnard Room is booked with either the Radhakrishnan Room or the Council Room for breakouts or refreshments.
