Fantastic venue that was perfect for a 30th birthday dinner. The food was excellent and well-priced. Harry was a great host that was happy to flex to meet my needs and had great communication! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion!

Flexible space. Fantastic kitchen facilities. Good communication from Harry.

A little more briefing on how to lock up and use things like the dishwasher...but you only need to ask.

About The Kitchen Counter

Herne Hill is known for its much-loved Brockwell Park and popular Sunday Herne Hill Market, and this space for rent beneath the archways on Milkwood Road is well-placed by both. Formerly one of Deliciously Ella's delis, this space for rent is now available for new brands to take over for all kinds of cafe, events or even retail concepts.

Sunday mornings and afternoons are a busy day for couples and families walking their dogs and stocking up on food at Herne Hill market. Slightly quieter in the week, expect a trickle of gym-goers and dance students from the studios up the road. Herne Hill station is right behind you.

With the exception of Pizza Express and Sainsbury's opposite, this space is surrounded by a mix of independent shops. You're in between the Seasons of England greengrocers and Dugard & Daughters butcher shop, and two doors from White Feather, a womenswear boutique stocking well-known Scandi-based brands like Samsøe & Samsøe and Gestuz.
