We went to tattersalls for a 28 person stag nibht. The pub owner was very responsive and helpful in the booking process, and on the night we had our own private space for the event and the bartenders were so enthusiastic in helping us enjoy our night. Food was good and quick considering our group size, and there was a speaker available for us to play our own music through. Would highly recommend for a pub night out for big groups.

The Gold Bar at COLAB Tower did not disappoint! I held a 21st birthday party here recently, and would like to thank the team for all their support both prior to and during the event. Beautiful event space with excellent staff. Thank you for a great night. The venue housed our band and provided a sound system to stream music to for later in the night. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently held my birthday party here and had a fantastic experience from start to finish! From the very beginning, the person who handled my enquiries via email was incredibly polite, efficient, and super quick to respond she provided everything I needed to plan the event with ease. On the day itself, every single member of staff was warm, welcoming and approachable, including the bouncers on the door who made us feel right at ease. There was a bottomless brunch happening in the room next door, but I'm pleased to say it had absolutely no impact on our party whatsoever a real testament to how well the venue manages its events. The food was top notch and absolutely delicious. I would genuinely recommend visiting this venue just for the food alone, even if you're not planning a private event! The DJ arranged through the venue was wonderful so kind, fun, and really helped make the night special. The décor throughout the venue was also beautiful and added a lovely atmosphere to the occasion. The only thing I would highlight for improvement is the women's toilets. Most of the cubicles were missing toilet seats, and the facilities overall could do with a full refresh and renovation. It's a small but noticeable detail that would really elevate the overall experience.

Good communication in the lead up to the event. Really friendly staff on the day! We could play our own music and it felt very separate from the rest of the bar. Well located, quirky space with loads of character. It could be really beautiful with proper care and maintenance so it's a shame it’s fallen into disrepair. Overall, it worked perfectly for what we needed, but definitely adjust your expectations from the old photos that are on here. If all you need is something rough and ready with character then it can work well, providing you bring your own decorations, rearrange the room yourself and are prepared to do a spot of cleaning!

I want to thank the team at Ask Janice for being so brilliant at hosting my 40th Birthday party. The Food was fantastic, the drink selection was fabulous and the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and did fantastic job accommodating my requests. I would highly recommended them to anyone hosting a medium to large size party. The Vue is really well designed allowing for both an area where people can sit down and chat and play games and having an area where people can cut loose and tear up the dance floor! So again would highly recommend and I thank everyone at Ask Janice for helping to host my event!

The communication was excellent - Immy, Selena and the team looked after us so well in advance and on the night. The venue is unique, amazing for a party and they were so sensitive to the access requirements we had. It's so hard to find a venue as unique as this and actually affordable in an amazing location! And at the end of the day, when you're stressed and hopeful that everyone is having fun, the most important thing is feeling taken care of on the night with kind and helpful people. We were spoiled!! Brilliant brilliant brilliant - best day of my life.

The Carpenters was perfect in all respects for my 60th with a lot of similar aged people. Initially I actually chose the 1st floor bar with terrace until on leaving I happened to notice the ground floor bar which had easy access straight in off the street and suited me more, for the wider space in which to dance - I made sure we danced! Very nicely furnished with big comfy Chesterfields all about too, and its own bar (very important!). I had my discussions with Rachel and Molly who were fantastic, and helped me out with the laptop playlist connections to their AUX 3-pin socket into the amp. It absolutely could not have gone any better! 10 out of 10! Well done to the Carpenters.

We had an engagement party here and hired out the pub. It's a lovely little venue with a great atmosphere for a party. The staff are absolute stars and went above and beyond. They helped coordinate things like the music, the pizzas we ordered on deliveroo and cake. I really cannot recommend this place enough for hosting a party, 12/10.
