The space was very comfortable and welcoming with a good amount of seating but with plenty of standing rooms as well that allowed for mingling. The lighting was terrific, being warm but just the right level of brightness. So I rate the space very highly but what was truly exceptional was the service. We were so well looked after. Our server, Michael, was attentive and quick without ever being rushed. He could spot a newcomer in the crowd and ensured they could place an order and receive their drinks without haste, supported by the quick service at the bar and by other support staff. I am hard-pressed to think of another occasion when I have received such exceptional service. The food, too, was delicious and the venue was super careful about catering for dietary requirements and allergies. If I could, I would rate this venue higher than a 5. I can't say enough positive things about it. From the pre-event support and booking process to our on the day experience, it was fantastic. We can't recommend it enough.

Such an amazing venue for a party of 35! We couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently made sure we were happy throughout the entire night. The space looked incredible on its own. We didn’t bring any decorations (and were a bit worried we should have!), but it turned out we didn’t need them at all. So many of our guests commented on what an amazing find the venue was. Drinks were reasonably priced too- cocktails were delicious & went down a treat! The attention to detail was outstanding. Having our names printed on the menu made us feel truly special. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone at Crol & Co for giving us such a wonderful night.
It was brilliant - the most reasonably priced venue in London from my research, easy to get to and surprisingly spacious for a space called "the snug" and tucked away nicely at the back of the pub. The staff were brilliant and even helped to rearrange the layout mid-party to better facilitate chatting. I hadn't booked food ahead but the few bits of food we ordered on the day was tasty and a good variety of snacks! I will definitely be back and recommending this space to friends!
Everything - the food was incredible, the day was perfect, the staff were so kind and helpful. Malin and her team made our day so special, and we've had people raving about the food and the day. We had booked the venue for our 'wedding' (we had done the legal bits elsewhere) and the price was incredibly reasonable and great value for money. Malin was so communicative (moreso than me) and was always checking in to make sure everything was going well. Thank you so much to the Williamson's Tavern and all staff that were there. I booked this venue for a 30th birthday party. During the lead-up to my party, Ryan was excellent. He responded to queries quickly, followed up on any outstanding points without me needing to chase, and was extremely helpful with any specific requests I made. On the day, Joanna and the team were fantastic. They kindly allowed me to arrive early to set up, accommodated all requests, and served the buffet right on time. I received nothing but positive comments about the food. Being able to play our own music helped to make the day extra special. The space itself was ideal for around 30 guests (including 2 toddlers). High chairs were provided for the children, and some chairs were even removed to make extra space for dancing, which worked perfectly. I would 100% book this space again and look forward to returning for our next family celebration!
We held our engagement party here for friends and family and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were so lovely and couldnt have been more helpful, even changing the food times on the day slightly to accomodate us better. the food was incredible and we got lots of complements on the metre pizzas. The space we hired was plenty big enough and guests were happy they could easily come and go as they wanted. We ended the night downstairs in the karaoke room which was a lot of fun. Everything was well communicated in the lead up to the event, and everyone was easy to get hold of. We were able to put up a few bits of decor around like banners which was really nice. The venue is in a really nice area too, a few minutes from paddington which really helped guests.
Had the absolutely best experience hiring the George and Monkey for our engagement party. They were so responsive and accommodating before the event, and it was such a wonderful space to have guests. we were able to pre order pizza and prosecco for everyone and the pizza got rave reviews. I am a wheelchair user so having a pub in a central location thats such a great venue AND completely wheelchair accessible was amazing- highly recommend booking this venue!!
