Good food and the on-site staff were helpful and responsive. The room worked fine for a half-day session with seven people, and the location is convenient.
A few basics let it down. The main screen wasn’t working and the HDMI lead was faulty, so both had to be sourced on the day, which wasn’t a great start. There was also a mix-up with the food order, partly down to a last-minute change in event manager, though nothing was unresolvable. The door doesn’t close properly, which means noise travels, so it’d be a tough room for a full day. Sort those things and it’s a decent option for a small group.

We booked the small private upstairs room for 11 people for my sister's hen party and had a wonderful time! The team at the Hydrant were so welcoming and attentive yet found the perfect balance by giving us enough space without being at all intrusive. The thoughtful personal touches such as a card addressed by name for my sister, and a complimentary glass of prosecco for her were really appreciated. Communication with the venue was really smooth and easy in advance of our booking and they made sure that all of my questions were answered so that we could arrive knowing that we would have a great time! The central location is absolutely incredible, it couldn't be closer to the Monument and a short walk from Tower Bridge. Thank you so much for everything, we had a great time!

not really a dislike, but we had 11 in the room (after booking for 13), I think anymore people and it would have been too crampt
