We booked out the Front Room of the venue (with no charge) for an 18th Birthday, the space was brilliantly adorned with vibrant couches, tables and lamps, offering plenty of seating for guests and a great atmosphere with low lighting and a disco ball. The area was perfectly suited for the 40-50 people we had; I was very capable of walking around the room without it feeling awkwardly spacious or stuffy. Phil and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful - they gave us all the possible venue information to plan catering and extra items we would need. The food and cocktail menus were great and able to cater for different allergies, and we were able to play semi-loud music and bring our own decorations. Any inquiries we had were easily sorted over both TagVenue messaging and via phone call. Overall it felt like seamless organisation and was an awesome night!

We had a fantastic experience celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday at The Purple Emerald! Everything was organised so well, and the team went above and beyond to help make the party a great success. They provided a TV for our photo presentation, organised a microphone and speaker system, offered discounted cocktails, and even gave the birthday girl two complimentary cocktails. They also kindly provided a mimosa for every guest, which was a lovely touch! The communication before and during the event was excellent. The team was friendly, accommodating, flexible and incredibly cooperative, making the whole planning process easy and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Purple Emerald to anyone looking for a great venue for a special celebration. No, as it is an outdoor space, we do not allow DJs to be set up on the sundeck due to noise restrictions and neighbours.

The Front Main Room can be offered as an exclusive, private function space, with an option for a DJ and dance floor.

No minimum bar tab is required: a bar tab is optional, with your choice of beverages, cocktails and more.

Yes. Decorations such as a flower wall or balloon mesh wall can be hired, but glitter and confetti are not permitted. The venue must be notified at least seven days before the event date.
