COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS
The Blacksmith offers an exciting opportunity for you to jump behind the bar and learn how to shake a cocktail. Our
Cocktail Masterclass can cater for groups from 10-30 people. We can accommodate larger groups on request however
the cost per head may alter. Cocktail classes are held outside of our usual hours of trade, and therefore can start
anywhere between 1.00pm - 3.00pm, and run for approximately 2 hours.
A deposit of $200 is required to confirm booking.

We recently celebrated our joint 50th at The Blacksmith Bar, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Shae was an absolute dream to deal with—so easy to reach and incredibly helpful, especially when it came to deciding on catering for the night. The venue itself is stunning, the food was delicious, and the drinks kept flowing thanks to the amazing bar team. Every staff member, from behind the bar to the floor, was friendly, attentive, and really added to the atmosphere. We had such a memorable night and can’t thank the team enough. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend The Blacksmith Bar for any special occasion.
The only slight challenge was parking—it’s not huge, so you may need to search a little. But honestly, it wasn’t a big issue and definitely didn’t take away from the night

I was quite worried about the event, but Shae and Simon made everything go smoothly that night. The staff were also very helpful and nice on the night.
Parking is a little difficult but very accessible by public transport.

The Blacksmith opened its doors in September 2019 and is the newest venue to join the Pratt Hospitality Group. Located in the Swan Street entertainment precinct, the original structure dates back to 1924, as McNaughton’s Ironmongers which can still be seen on the existing façade. Everything from the name of the venue, the quirky antique-style décor, the cocktail menu, and even the staff uniforms play on the history of the structure.

The venue has a large focus on quality ingredients to create only the best cocktails, and the cocktail menu is designed to be uncomplicated and simplistic; a paired backlist, paying homage to the old classics.

The entire venue is available for private functions any night of the week, for up to 100 people. The venue will be yours exclusively until 11.30 pm, at which time we will open to the general public.
