Party Venues for Hire in Melbourne

I had my 30th birthday party at the Purple Emerald and had a fantastic time. From start to finish, Phil was incredible to work with, very adaptable to any requests, and had a great top-to-bottom coverage of all needs in the planning for the event. I opted for a bar tab option and platter catering (all of which had high praise from all attendees). I did shop around after finding this venue, but the price, food options (excellent dietary coverage) and location just couldn't be beat. I originally had reservations about the space feeling too small, however with 60-65 people and an identical set up to the profile image of the sundeck, it was a really nice, cosy space. There was plenty of room to move around with a good view of the tv in the corner, and enough furniture for sitting. The staff regularly checked in during the night to see if anything else was needed, and everything just ran super smoothly from the word go. Thank you so much Phil and the team at The Purple Emerald Bar. One of my guests said they often come by as patrons and I intend to join them going forwards. Great team, great space, and great night had by everyone who attended.

After reading many of the previous reviews abt the service I decided to host my 21st birthday at the dooleys bar venue at Monash hotel and WOW. The staff was phenomenal, from the second I stepped in just to view it as one of my venue options to having the staff run me through all their dishes and even letting me taste some of the menu to the big night, the whole experience was somehow so smooth and something that should have been so stressful was completely smooth. A few highlights in the wonderful staff was Anna and Sofia. Their professionalism, genuineness and support was something definitely noticeable. The venue itself was perfectly set up when I got there EXACTLY how I wanted it with all their tiny details perfected. You can tell the amount of work that went into that night from all of those behind the scenes. The food was also to die for, the karage chicken was one of my favourites. The fish balls were fresh and spice and the kebabs were so succulent. There was nothing I would change about my night I would recommend Monash hotel to anyone thinking of having any party whatsoever, moreover anyone thinking of bringing the family for lunch/dinner, the pub or as their accommodation. I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and will definitely be back!!

I know this is long overdue, but I couldn’t let it pass without giving a big shoutout to the amazing team at Two Hands Rooftop Bar for helping make my close friend’s birthday in 2024 so memorable! From the moment we walked in, the down-to-earth management and incredible bartenders made us feel so welcome. The whole crew wasn’t just serving drinks – they were truly part of the celebration, creating the kind of warm, friendly vibe you rarely find in venues these days. What I appreciated most was how they handled everything with such ease – even the chaos of the night felt like it was all under control in the best way possible. The music was on point, the energy was high, and everyone there felt like part of one big community. I might be late in writing this review, but the experience has stayed with me because of how genuinely kind and attentive the team was. Thank you for the good vibes, the laughter, and for making sure everyone had such a great time. If anyone’s looking for a venue that combines fantastic service, friendly staff, and the perfect party atmosphere – Two Hands Rooftop Bar is the place to be!

I had a disco party planned for my daughter’s birthday. I found the studio at music valley and was exactly what I was looking for. What a fantastic venue!! The atmosphere was excellent, the sound and lighting within the studio exceeded expectations, the price was affordable and the assistance on the night was second to none!! Steve was friendly and polite. He was very quick to respond to all of my questions. Despite being very busy, Steve took the time out of his night to personally come and introduce himself, such a gentleman! Amazing!! I would give it 100 stars if I could.

This venue is honestly one of the best we have ever seen. The Irish pub theme is super unique and has been done so tastefully. The space also has so many awesome amenities such as 2 pool tables, 2 dart boards, string lights lining the entire ceiling, a huge dance floor as well as a large stage equipped with an awesome sound system, and all the party lights you can think of. Do not be deceived by these photos as they are super outdated! You must go see it in person and you will fall in love with it instantly. Another major bonus is value for money. Their packages are 10 times better than most other venues as well as double the size. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem.

Apartment 26 was everything I wanted it to be! It really elevated my 40th birthday masquerade party. Tony and his sister did an amazing job taking care of us. The food was incredible, the drinks were flowing and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely a hiding gem that needs to be discovered. 5 stars!

The venue looked great with a lovely space for decorations and a dancefloor. The team on the night were very helpful and cool - even matching with my party theme! They were able to move around the furniture for me accordingly and Mary/Courtney were very helpful in planning the event prior to the date. Would come back here again!

From the moment I saw the photos I knew that this was the venue for me. I am absolutely in love with the atmosphere and interior design of the Blacksmith Bar. The whole place is a bit dim and moody with beautiful emerald greens and maroons that give it a vintage but classy feel. Outside of the design everything else was also perfect. There was enough seating along the back wall and there was a screen and a full bar and a private bathroom and even a built in photo booth at our disposable. My friends and I all had so much fun and took many photos. I highly recommend you order catering the menu was extensive with lots to choose from and it was all very delicious. Finally, the team was amazing. Taya answered all my emails and was very eager and helpful in organising the night with me and our bar tenders on the night were also incredible in communicating with me whilst serving.
