About this space

The Purple Emerald Lounge Bar is an intimate cocktail bar in Northcote with friendly service, a relaxed vibe, and happy people.

The main room features comfy couches and lots of space for small and large groups.

Step outside to our gorgeous Sundeck, decorated with fairy lights and beautiful flowers. There are lots of booths and large tables for various group sizes. The Sundeck has a retractable roof and is completely weatherproof, with gas heating if needed.

The Main room has its own smoking area, sound system, projector, a microphone for speeches, and its own bar. The multimedia projector can be used to project a slideshow of your favorite photos, at no extra charge.

The Sundeck is totally weather proof. Gas heating is available during winter. This area is extremely popular given its outdoor ambiance and is beautifully decorated with fairy lights.

We normally do not charge a venue hire fee. Certain criteria need to be met: a minimum bar tab and a min catering order is required if you are booking the entire venue

We have been holding functions for over 20 years, almost every weekend, and can guarantee you will have a great night. We work with all types of budgets, so have a chat with us. We are very dedicated with all our functions and always receive great reviews, feedback and recommendations. We provide a complete event service and our years of experience means we can help plan your event with ease and simplicity.

Gorgeous flowers and fairy lights create a delightful ambiance in this outdoor setting. Have your own music playing and showcase your favourite pics on our large LCD screen

Delicious finger foods, amazing cocktails, tap beers and an impressive range of spirits and beverages from all parts of the world. Catering options provide dietary requirements, GF, Vegan and Vegetarian finger foods, prepared on site.

Award winning cocktails on special (normally $22 each) are available all day and night 2 for $30 !!!!
