About this space

Beer Garden is a semi-private garden area in the Aviary Hotel that provides a compact timber-decked courtyard with an intimate, outdoor feel.

Design: The beer garden uses warm timber decking and exposed timber posts against a painted brick wall fitted with perforated acoustic panels. The seating combines built-in benches and tall bar tables arranged around large planters that allow natural light into the space.

Features: The Beer Garden includes a PA system and speakers and allows hosts to play their own music. The space has Wi‑Fi, step-free guest access and is wheelchair accessible. The layout provides a mix of bench seating and high stools suitable for both seated and standing arrangements.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, casual gathering that works as a standing reception or an informal seated meal.

What guests say: The beer garden is cosy and relaxed, and the space has welcoming staff and a lively, sports-friendly atmosphere.

We had a fantastic experience at the Aviary beer garden to celebrate a 21st Birthday. Staff were great at comunications and it was stress free. The catering was smooth and professional and the food was delicious. I would highly recomend this venue although on the website it says the space would hold up to 80 - this would be a tight squeeze.
