Design: The room presents deep red carpet, tall red velvet curtains, arched windows and brass trim that create an ornate, traditional interior. The layout places upholstered bench seating around the perimeter and leaves a clear central area for flexible arrangements.
Features: The room includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, natural light from windows, a PA/speaker system and permission to play your own music. The furniture is configurable and comprises a long central table, folding chairs and perimeter banquettes, and heavy curtains allow control over ambient light.

The venue was beautiful, the staff catered for my needs the whole night, and it was truly an unforgettable night. It went too quickly.
Little details like cake being served on napkins instead of plates made it a bit hard to eat. Another hiccup was my guests started eating from the dietaries table as it was not labelled clear enough.

We had a wonderful time and cannot praise the staff at the temperance hotel highly enough. Annaliese was very responsive, the bar staff were friendly and attentive and a special shout out goes to the lovely security men who helped our elderly guests find and get their ubers home. They really went above and beyond. The red velvet room itself was gorgeous and the food was a big hit. We had rave reviews from all of our guests.

One of the canapé options can be selected, with the remainder put towards a bar tab. Once the tab is reached, guests can purchase their own drinks at the bar, or the tab can be extended.
