Was really fantastic thank you. Lovely staff. Lovely venue. Very roomy and made a great place to hold a pub quiz!

The Cellar Bar downstairs is ideal for private events. Normally customers in the pub use the toilets downstairs, but the staff was considerate enough to put up a sign asking them to use the toilets upstairs. The pub was very responsive to our inquiry all the time, along with the staff in the pub on the day of the event were excellent. In particular, Tim, the main staff serving the drinks had a very professional attitude from beginning to end and willingly accepted all our requests. We appreciate all the staff who helped with the event. Thank you very much!!

Location, venue size, food and service were all amazing! We had a fabulous night.

Only 2 toilets, they did get busy!

The room was lovely as were the staff and they were very flexible with helping out , you could play your own music and bring your own birthday cake. Would recommend

Only negative things were people coming down from the upstairs bar to use the toilets. We felt quite rushed at the end to leave, as we had agreed with manager to stay until 12 but were being told to leave at 11.30. Still had a wonderful time!

About The King's Head Pub

Having a long and distinguished history, The King’s Head stands on land formerly owned by the Duke of Albemarle. It has undergone several name changes since 1710 but is now back with its original name thought to be credited to King Charles II. Some, however, believe it is named after King George II, so we depicted both on our pub’s sign.
