The location is perfect for what we needed. A nice pub, great food, good drinks, nice staff and plenty of space for our party of 45.
Only downside was that we had way too much food. Our waiter told me afterwards that usually they tell customers to order for a few less people than are expected because there is so much food. No one told me that.

The manager was helpful and did everything to help us to prepare for the event. The service over all was very good and all of the guests were satisfied. The food was heavy but really tasty. Would book again in the future.

Having a long and distinguished history, The King’s Head stands on land formerly owned by the Duke of Albemarle. It has undergone several name changes since 1710 but is now back with its original name thought to be credited to King Charles II. Some, however, believe it is named after King George II, so we depicted both on our pub’s sign.
