We absolutely loved our experience in the Prince of Wales Room at Quaglino’s! The space was stunning — elegant, atmospheric, and perfect for our celebration. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were huge. The atmosphere was lively, and it was fantastic that we could either enjoy the music from the main event or play our own. The team went above and beyond to make the evening special, even accommodating an unexpected extra guest with no fuss. It truly made the night feel seamless and well taken care of.
Communication in the lead-up was quite slow. I was trying to finalize plans before heading to the UK for a work trip, but unfortunately couldn’t get everything wrapped up in time. The team was accommodating when it took me longer to provide what they needed — which I appreciated — but that’s exactly why I had tried to plan early.
We had an open bar up to a set amount, which we went through fairly quickly. Service for drinks felt a bit slow — my glass was often empty (which I suppose is a good sign!), but being from the US, I’m used to servers circling back more quickly when glasses are empty. Honestly, we probably would have spent more than the nearly £2K on the bar if drinks had been flowing faster.
That said, the wait staff themselves were absolutely incredible — warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening.
Overall though, it was an absolutely incredible night — the space, food, and experience were unforgettable. Knowing what I know now, I’d 100% do it again, just with earlier and more frequent communication along the way.
