This one you just show: a 1960s petrol station in the heart of Southwark, its sweeping white canopy still stretching over the forecourt, festoon lights strung beneath it, the Shard rising behind. Pull the gates shut and the whole 1,700 m² is yours — a blank canvas with a built-in story no marquee or white-box studio can fake.
The canopy changes everything. Around 680 m² of the site is covered and lit, which means the thing every London outdoor event fears — rain — simply doesn't matter here. Stage, bar, dining and dancefloor all sit in the dry, with the open yard beyond for scale: 200 seated beneath the canopy, up to 800 standing across the full site, and a golden-hour skyline as your backdrop.
It's as practical as it is photogenic. Three-phase power across the site means most productions run without a single generator. A nine-metre gate takes artics straight onto level concrete. The glazed former-showroom units become your green room, production office and VIP space — no cabins required — with kitchens, toilets and WiFi built in. And in a first for zone 1: your guests can actually park on site.
Launches, summer parties, brand activations, banquets, screenings, shoots — the space flexes to all of it, and because it's run by the owner, holds confirm same-day and questions get answered by a person, not a portal.
