The Playground Theatre is in Kensington and Chelsea, not far from Grenfell Tower. It’s set in a converted bus depot, so the space has a bit of character right from the start.

It was founded in 1998 by Peter Tate as a place for theatre makers to try things out and develop their work. The idea is simple—give artists room to experiment, shape ideas, and find their own voice.
