Worst experience. The venue manager terminated my event half way through the booking. They did not honour the agreed minimum spend and demanded more on the day. I was interrupted from hosting my group to speak on the phone with a manager Andrea Silva on the phone who screamed saying they have overheads and rent - we all do, don’t set a min spend if it doesn’t cover your business costs. Completely ruined my event and some of my guests left after all the commotion. The rest of the event we had to find a new location. I didn’t even get a chance to finish ordering the drinks and food I was going to get from this venue. Also the images on the venue are not accurate, the space is much smaller with more tables cluttering the upstairs. Overall, would advise anyone thinking of booking here to choose somewhere else for your event to avoid dealing with the rude and disrespectful management at this venue.

The space upstairs was brilliant for our group of 9. The seating was comfortable, the lighting was perfect, the theme is super fun and the staff were absolutely brilliant. The food selection covered vegan, vegetarian and carnivore options. The presentation was excellent and dinner & drinks were throroughly enjoyed by all. We'll definitely go again!

The new site, located at 50 James Street, the perfect respite for tourists, locals and shoppers alike. The interiors have been curated in partnership with Atelier Ochre: the design draws inspiration from traditional Italian pizzerias and trattorias from the 1950’s and 60’s, featuring classic materials like marble, wood and stainless steel. The aesthetics are playful and prepared to reflect the individual character of each Berberè location.

Berberè has quickly become renowned in the capital for its signature 24-hour proofed sourdough base and seasonal ingredients. Their live sourdough is the result of many years of research and is prepared with organic type 1 flour, with the pizza left to rise for 24-hours in a temperature controlled environment to guarantee the same taste experience in every pizzeria - a pizza which is distinctly fluffy on the inside, with a crunch on the outside.
