Warm, inviting space with easy access. Venue is cute, food was excellent, service was fantastic. Team were attentive, accommodating, polite and friendly. They coordinated with me for delays with timing due to guest arrival and delivered seamlessly. Preorder process was very smooth and made things easier on the day. The venue was quiet on the day so we were able to make quite alot of noise so less restricted than anticipated. Minimal decoration needed for babyshower in green areas due to soft lighting. Food was varied and delicious. Fish and chips were exceptional.
Very little! Minor things to consider if hosting here or for venue to pay more attention to. There is one area in the snug with alot of pictures in the wall which could do with some more lights to match the rest of the room and tie in the aesthetic. It was a tight squeeze for serving the far end of the room when dining so made games for baby shower a bit more difficult in moving around but we had maxed capacity so with less people would be easier. Parking is very expensive in the area due to restrictions and local attractions and max 4 hours (£22) so suggest car pooling where possible or public transport. The sticky toffee pudding was a bit overdone so people were disappointed but it certainly wasn't bad. Plating of crispy squid made it look very sparse/ small portion.
