Welcome to Studio 406 🌇 by 503DTLA, located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. This studio offers stunning natural light and breathtaking views of the Downtown LA skyline, making it an ideal setting for your creative projects.
The space includes a photoshoot-ready studio with a curved cyclorama (cyc) wall and new Venetian clay walls in Ivory, Slate, and Boondocks colors. Multiple backdrop options are available: a paper backdrop station, textured backdrop station, a fire escape (add-on), product shot station, and party lights (add-on). Additional amenities include a hair & make-up station with lighting, changing room, 11ft mirror, clothing rack, steamer, props, stool, and keypad entry for secure access.
All lighting and equipment listed below are included free with your rental:
- Nanlite FS-300B Bi-Color AC LED Monolight with Barn Door Attachment
- FJ400 Strobe 400Ws with AC/DC Battery (trigger must be brought or purchased separately)
- Two Neewer 60W RGB LED Video Lights
- Neewer 43" Diameter Reflectors (Translucent, Silver, Gold, White & Black)
- Various softboxes, including 3’ x 4’ and 105cm parabolic
- Neewer Clamshell Reflector
- V Flats, Snoot, C-Stands, sandbags, camera tripod, apple boxes, stool, and 3-step ladder
The studio is located in a secure, gated building with 24/7 security patrols. On-site parking is available for \$9 per vehicle (cash payment), with truck loading bays and a 15ft freight elevator operated by an attendant to facilitate equipment handling.

Please note that some rules can be waived if you make a formal request with the host.
Guests must clean and reset the space after their booking.
Guests must take all excess trash that does not fit into the trash with them before they leave.
No Smoking: Purchase add-on to waive this rule.
No Animals or Pets:Â Purchase add-on to waive this rule.
Do Not Move Furniture without permission. Purchase add-on to waive this rule.
Do Not Disturb Neighbors:Â The booking will be canceled without a refund if you receive a noise complaint or if the neighbors communicate a disturbance to the host.
No congregating in the front of the location.
The Cyc Wall area is off-limits.
Your booking will be canceled without a refund if you violate any of these rules. The host also reserves the right to charge a fee after your booking if any of these rules are violated. Please ask the host if there are any rules that you would like waived, e.g. Removing the No Food rule if you would like to cater for your guests.
Host reserves the right to charge a fine of up to $250 for any rules that are broken.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
