About this space

CityCo Manchester is a beautiful heritage venue that can cater for a range of meetings and events. Whether it’s for a small conference or away-day, seminar or training session, presentation or photo-shoot, bring your colleagues to a unique space in the heart of the city centre.

The Shipping Office and The Cotton Room are on the top floor of Lloyd’s House and overlook Manchester’s iconic Town Hall. The redbrick building has a fascinating history. Designed by the architectural practice of Speakman & Charlesworth in 1867, the site was originally for the ‘Manchester Shipping Office and Packing Company Ltd.’ and was the city’s first purpose-built cotton warehouse.

The venue is fully Covid-19 compliant to meet latest hygiene, safety and social distancing guidance. The venue is certified ‘Good to Good’ by Visit Britain.

Measures in place include:
