Situated in the basement of Shack NQ in Manchester's northern quarter.
Lost weekend is an industrial style event space which has 8 TV screens, 4 larger projector screens, sound system, stage, DJ Booths & a private bar.
The space is flexible and suitable for various types of events & parties.
We also have the option to add activities to the space for guests, such as pool, darts, ping pong & beer pong.

The best venue for your event!
From enquiring to arranging last minute things for the evening to the night itself Alex and the team at The Shack couldn’t have been better.
Alex and I discussed my requirements in depth and she really made sure that everything id mentioned was listened to and achieved.
Thank you so much for hosting my 30th birthday, a night to remember and it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Good space, friendly staff
Extremely understaffed, which led to poor coordination with the music and insufficient bar coverage (only two staff for around 200 attendees).
There was an incident with security behaving in a homophobic/transphobic manner toward an attendee. The venue apologised, but the issue reflects on their hiring choices. Improvement is needed.
The event was scheduled to run until 4am, but at 2:30am we were told last orders without prior communication.
Additionally, the bathrooms were not cleaned or restocked, requiring multiple requests for basic supplies. This highlights the broader staffing issues.

The space was perfect for our event and all the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful, everyone had a brilliant time!
Everything was perfect! We had a little issue connecting our ipad to the WiFi for the music but the staff helped resolve this and were great getting it sorted for us in the end.
