Our guide to Reading venue hire
Reading is an up and coming town with a long history. Nestled securely in Berkshire in the South East of England, it is a convenient hub with easy transport to many of the country’s major southeastern cities. Reading is also ideally located close to all of London’s major airports. While not a traditional tourist destination, businesses have a well-established niche in this town. Growth over recent years has made the town a focus for ITC, finance, legal, insurance, green technologies and biopharma industries.
Meeting Rooms and Conference Spaces - Professional spaces are easily located in the east, near to Reading Town Hall. Moving towards the south you can also find the University of Reading, which offers a mix of spaces for meeting and conferences. Other conferences venues in the city are easily accessible along the A33 in the north, as well as most of the town’s many hotels.
Social celebrations - If you are looking to hire a venue for a more social occasion, Reading is well able to meet your needs. With several centrally located chic hotels and quite fine restaurants and pubs, you can certainly find an event space to fit your needs. Check in the centre of town for some fine options, particularly near the Town Hall. Also, consider looking in the suburbs of the town at any of the larger golf clubs or event venues which will be suitable for larger parties.
