Cambridge is a city known for its world-famous university, but it is truly so much more. Academic institutions rub shoulders with startups and global businesses in this UK city. And crowds of visitors flock here every day to admire the Cambridge’s one of a kind cityscape. A full range of historic venues and modern event spaces are all available here, all you need to do is start the hunt for your next great hire on Tagvenue.
Because the university and its many colleges occupy the heart of central Cambridge, your hunt for venues will likely start in this area. Meeting rooms and conference centres can be found adjacent to or even on university property. Check out the offers around Kings Parade and Trumpington Street.
Petersfield is an area to the east of the university and stretched from Hills Road to Newmarket Road. One of the city’s best neighbourhoods, it offers easy access to the train station and some must-try pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Nearby Mill Road is not far off from Cambridge Station and is also called Romsey Town. Known for its hip atmosphere, this area of town has a wide range of restaurants from all across the globe.
Chesterton is a quiet area east of central Cambridge, with quiet and tree-lined streets. It’s close by many of the city’s meeting spaces and hotels, as well as the River Cam.
The area around Queens Road is another district to note, this major roadway covers the west of Cambridge. It offers a backside view of the Cambridge University buildings as well as access to several fantastic pubs. Many of west Cambridge’s wedding venues are an easy hop from this roadway.
