An airy, welcoming room on the top floor of Lloyd’s House, with notable historic elements from the 1867 cotton warehouse including pitched ceiling, exposed brick walls, metalwork and wooden floor. All combined with contemporary furniture, lighting and top-spec AV equipment.
CityCo and Manchester BID understand that the health, safety and well-being of our staff and our event guests are paramount with Covid-19 in the new world. We have developed new ways of working based on up-to-date guidance provided by the government and industry bodies. These include, but are not limited to the following:
• Adjusted room capacities
• Flexible chairs, tables and presentation layouts
• Full risk assessments
• Staff wellness checks and social distancing
• Enhanced cleaning regimes before, during and after events
• Hand sanitiser stations and washing facilities
• Stocks of disposable face masks if required
• Clear signage throughout
• Dedicated event coordinator support.
We ask guests not to visit our venue if displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, however mild.
In compliance with the above we have been certified ‘Good to Go’ by Visit Britain, demonstrating CityCo is a Manchester venue that meets government and industry Covid-19 guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing.

Room was really nice & was set up in time. All the staff around were really helpful & the nespresso machine went down well!

Our event and meeting spaces are on the top floor of Lloyd’s House overlooking Manchester Town Hall. The building has a fascinating history. Designed by the architectural practice of Speakman & Charlesworth in 1867, the site was originally for the Manchester Shipping Office and Packing Company Ltd. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
