About this space
A compact studio bursting with sound wizardry: prime acoustic treatment, ideal for podcasts, voiceovers, music, and video post, available dry or wet hire, all within a quiet, secure, and ground-floor retreat.
For each hire we require:
- Signed MHW Terms & Conditions
- Completed risk assessment
- Copy of current Public Liability Insurance (PLI) or signed legal waiver (if applicable)
- Separate £500 refundable deposit must be paid directly to us prior to your hire date.
**This space has a strict no food/drink policy, these can be served and consumed in our Café.
**As part of our commitment to giving back, we keep our venue hire rates affordable to make our space accessible to everyone. All profits from venue hire are reinvested into projects delivered by our CIC, directly benefiting the local community we serve.

RULES & POLICIES
• Set-Up & Clearing: Set-up, use and clearing away must take place entirely within your booked time slot. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the booked time and deducted from your deposit.
• Deposit: A separate £250 refundable deposit (£500 for Studio hire) must be paid directly to us prior to your hire date. This deposit will hold the date for you and be returned after the hire, provided the space, fixtures and equipment are left in their original condition. Any damage, staining or if excessive cleaning is required, this will result in an additional charge, which will be deducted from the deposit. Where costs exceed £250/£500, the hirer is responsible for the remaining balance.
• Decorations: Decorations are welcome, but nothing may be attached to walls. Anything fixed to windows or partition doors must not leave marks, adhesive residue or cause damage. Loose balloons and confetti are not permitted. Any resulting damage or residue will be charged and deducted from the deposit.
• Food & Drink: The Lounge and Studio have a strict no food/drink policy. Breach of this policy will result in an additional cleaning charge, which will be deducted from the deposit.
• Smoking: Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside the building.
• Visitors: All visitors must sign in on arrival and sign out before leaving. The hirer is responsible for ensuring their guests comply with these rules.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Your booking is confirmed once we have received:
• Signed MHW Terms & Conditions
• Completed Risk Assessment
• Current Public Liability Insurance (PLI) or signed legal waiver, where applicable
• Full hire payment and any applicable additional fees (equipment, catering etc.) via Tagvenue
• Separate £250 refundable deposit (£500 for Studio hire), paid directly to us prior to your hire date.
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day with Grace Period
