About this space

Origin City is an upmarket restaurant whose defining quality for private events is an intimate dining room that integrates formal table seating with small lounge corners.

Design: The interior pairs painted cast-iron columns and polished dark timber floors with white ceilings and neutral plastered walls. The seating mixes white-clothed tables and low lounge chairs upholstered in textured, fur-effect fabrics, and walls are punctuated by framed art and murals.

Features: An in-house bar anchors one end of the dining room and a freestanding screen allows the layout to be reconfigured into semi-private areas. A flexible furniture mix supports both formal dining and lounge-style circulation, and the room benefits from natural daylight and ceiling-mounted climate control. Wi‑Fi is provided and the venue has step-free access, wheelchair-accessible routes and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups wanting a polished, seated dinner with a relaxed social area for mingling will find the layout and tone well suited to their needs.

What sets it apart: A direct supply chain from the owners' Argyll farm and their sister aquafarm provides house-sourced meat and seafood for the kitchen.

What guests say: The dining room is quiet and upscale with attentive, unobtrusive service and prominent wall art, and the space is consistently noted for its intimacy and suitability for private group bookings.
