About this space

Bar: Cosmic Corner is a semi-private area in a Bar at The Astronomer, centred on an intimate fixed banquette corner that provides a tucked-away spot inside the pub.

Design: The corner pairs dark wood panelling and vertical ribbed wall detailing with solid wood tables and dark trim. The space is compact and vertically proportioned, lit by a woven pendant and daylight from a tall window.

Features: Wi‑Fi and air conditioning are available in the area. The area receives natural daylight and has step‑free guest access. Accessible toilets are provided nearby.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, social seated gathering or an informal meeting that benefits from a tucked-away corner.

What sets it apart: A distinctive astronomy theme gives the corner a clear identity through framed planetary artwork and themed finishing touches.

What guests say: The space has a buzzy, lively atmosphere during busy periods. The space is supported by organised, attentive staff who manage service in a busy setting.
