Our expansive main hall offers a versatile space for a wide range of events, from elegant formal gatherings to lively informal parties. Boasting exceptional acoustics, it is the perfect setting for music and theatre groups to rehearse and showcase their talents.
With a capacity of up to 120 for dinner or 200 for performances, the rental includes tables and chairs. Additionally, we offer optional extras such as staging, microphones, and a PA system to enhance your event experience. The hall measures 180m² (18m x 9.8m), providing ample space for your guests to enjoy.

Setting up and tidying away is included within the hired time and is the responsibility of the hirer
Any waste that exceeds more than one bag is to be taken away by the hirer
All equipment must be returned to its rightful place and the facility left clean and tidy
SEACC reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time if circumstances require it
The hirer agrees to provide on request any necessary information on risk assessments, public liability insurance and membership
The hirer must inform the Bookings Administrator if they wish to provide alcohol
Booking form to be sent back within 3 working days of receiving it
All events must finish by 11 pm unless otherwise agreed with the Centre Director
The booking is not confirmed until payment has been made in full and the booking form has been returned to the Bookings Administrator
No alterations, additions or attachments may be made to the premises without prior agreement with the Centre Director
The hirer must report any accidents that happen on site to a member of SEACC staff and complete the relevant section in the accident book
The hirer agrees to be present during the hire and to fully comply with the hire condition and standard Terms and Conditions

The hire period must include set-up and clean-down time. The venue provides a PA system and two microphones, plus up to 200 mixed chairs, although only up to 100 would likely fit in a circle; decorations are permitted, but the hirer is responsible for any damage.
Yes, that would work nicely. Ceremonies are licensed in The Walnut Grove, though this is patio rather than grass. If you wanted to hold the ceremony in the park, you would have to get in contact with the council.
