About this space

The Mezzanine is a semi-private elevated seating area in the Lord Aberconway that overlooks the main bar.

Design: The mezzanine shows a traditional pub interior of dark timber panelling, patterned carpet and period chandeliers beneath high ceilings. Tall arched windows deliver natural daylight to the upper level.

Features: The mezzanine has a platform layout of high-top tables and stools and is accessed by a short internal staircase. The area includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning.

Ideal for: Small social groups and work teams seeking a relaxed, sociable space for informal standing-or-seated gatherings.

What sets it apart: An original carved wooden balustrade and an ornate decorative ceiling give the mezzanine strong period character.

What guests say: The mezzanine is cosy and welcoming within a well-kept traditional interior. The space benefits from friendly, attentive staff and a relaxed, homely atmosphere.
