About this space

The Assembly Hall is the flagship space at Church House Westminster, and the room the team reaches for first when a booking calls for scale. The centrepiece is a thirty-foot glass dome, lined in polished English oak. Below it, a main floor and gallery both face the stage, so the room shifts easily between a full conference and a black-tie dinner. Adjacent is the Hoare Memorial Hall, and the two are regularly booked together for events that need breakout space, seminar sessions, or a separate room for drinks before dinner. It has held the receptions for the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III, and hosted the first UN Security Council session back in 1946. One in-house team handles the whole booking with no separate AV or catering company to manage and no gaps in accountability.
