I was generally very happy with this space and my experience overall. The place is a large warehouse-style space with an industrial vibe, warm colours, and beautiful couches — I really loved the atmosphere and the overall look. The hosts were amazing: very friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Communication was easy and quick, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. There are people living in the space, which is important to be aware of, but everyone was very kind, and as long as you’re respectful, it’s absolutely fine. There’s a bathroom and a kitchen available, which we were free to use. We were lucky to get some nice natural light through the windows during the day. That said, if you’re shooting in winter or aren’t sure about the weather, I’d recommend bringing your own lights. There are also some lights available on site. One thing I really appreciated is that most things are on wheels, so it’s very easy to move furniture around. The hosts are very open to rearranging the space as long as everything is put back at the end, which I think is completely fair. I really loved the space, the vibe, and the results of my photoshoot. I’m very pleased with the photos and would definitely come back. As long as you’re aware of these small details in advance, it’s a great place to shoot.
One small thing worth mentioning (and not very visible in photos) is that some of the furniture is a bit worn. A few pieces show signs of use, and there can be some stains on the carpet. This wasn’t a big issue for me — my photographer was able to retouch it — but it’s something to be aware of, especially if you plan close-up shots on the floor or furniture. Some couches have visible cracks or marks, but since everything is movable, you can easily work around it with pillows, blankets, or different angles.
