About this space

The Manufacturing Room is located on the first floor and offers an abundance of natural light and views over St James Park. One of our larger rooms, the room is a flexible space and can be arranged in a variety of layouts. Ideal for away days and drinks receptions, this room is also ideal as syndicate space when used in conjunction with the Lecture Theatre.

A registration table and a coat rail are available outside the room.

Beautiful venue, great view of the park. Great for international guests to be so central. Catering was good quality and tasty.

Often hard to get hold of staff on the day, errors with catering (not enough food for our guests) made it quite stressful. Was hard to get our supplies delivered to the venue, could only park quite far around the corner, so had to carry heavy boxes a long way, up steps / cobbled streets with staff unwilling to help at all (even by holding a door open). Everything extra was very costly and strictly adhered to (£500+ to arrive an hour early to set up!). Toilets on our floor were out of order, so only one disabled toilet on the ground floor (down two flights of steps) made breaks difficult.
