About this space

Great for acting workshops, The Calder Theatre Bookshop’s Theatre is a popular stage rehearsal spot. Tagvenue’s acting enthusiasts have called it “a gem of a space” which is “priced very reasonably.”

This is a room with a 15 square metre stage and 24 seats once belonging to the Palladium. NB This space is only ever rented out for rehearsals and castings/auditions, meetings etc, never for performance. It's separated from the bookshop by a partition, which doesn't make it totally soundproof. However it's used often for castings and auditions - actors can sit in the bookshop whilst waiting to be called but please no more than two at any one time.
