Blank Canvas in a Church

Private space

About this space

Studio Space is a blank-canvas private studio in the Engine Room. The room's defining quality is a wide, unobstructed floor that adapts to different layouts and activities.

Design: The studio presents a neutral, functional interior with pale grey painted walls and wood-effect vinyl plank flooring. The space has a shallow rectangular plan, recessed ceiling downlights and a small alcove at the far wall that frames activity.

Features: An open, hard-surface floor suitable for dancing or fitness occupies most of the room, accompanied by a panel mirror and accessible mains sockets. The studio includes venue Wi‑Fi and ceiling lighting that supports classes, rehearsals or workshops.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking an adaptable, movement-focused space for rehearsals, classes or practical workshops in an unfussy, functional setting.

What sets it apart: A row of stained-glass windows at one end introduces coloured daylight and a distinctive visual feature to the otherwise simple studio.

What guests say: The training areas are kept clean and fitted with high-quality, well maintained equipment and fixtures.
