About this space

Summer Garden (Dorothy) is a private outdoor space at The Regent Balham pub, defined by a semi-covered beer-garden layout that combines sheltered and open-air areas.

Design: The space pairs reclaimed-wood and metal furniture with exposed brick and timber fencing, a mature tree and artificial-turf sections; evening festoon lights provide low-level illumination.

Features: The area contains mixed seating including bench seating, freestanding tables and standing barrel tables. A covered pergola provides sheltered seating while paved and turf surfaces divide seating zones. Table QR-ordering links directly to the pub's food and drink service and staff can serve orders to the garden.

Ideal for: The space suits groups seeking a relaxed, sociable outdoor setting for informal seated meals or standing drinks.

What sets it apart: A theatrical wardrobe entrance leads directly into the garden, providing a distinctive themed arrival experience.

What guests say: The garden is lively yet cosy and benefits from attentive, welcoming front-of-house staff. The outdoor area offers easy QR table ordering that simplifies food and drink service.
