About this space

The Vaults at Traitors Gate is a private basement bar within the pub, notable for being a tucked-away cellar that provides a discreet, separate space from the main bar.

Design: The Vaults presents a low-ceilinged, compact interior finished in dark wood panelling and leather seating around a curved stone-topped bar; backlit shelving and warm amber lighting focus attention on the bar area.

Features: The Vaults has its own bar counter fitted with multi-tap beer dispensers and a fully stocked backbar. The room includes an in-built PA system and speakers, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, and it allows hosts to play their own music.

Ideal for: Small groups are best suited to relaxed, drinks-focused standing receptions or informal, seated social gatherings in a private setting.

What guests say: The Vaults is characterful and clean and delivers a welcoming, pub-style atmosphere. The interior and lighting create a cosy, intimate feel.

Thanks so much to Ben, Georgia and the team for taking such good care of us for our Christmas party. They kindly arranged the downstairs room to suit our setup, and decorated the room very nicely. Delicious food and great service - thank you!
