About this space

Our stunning Reading Room offers a unique backdrop for book launches, evening drinks and networking events.

Featuring a wide range of objects from Wellcome Collection, it’s a bright, open space dotted with artworks, medical artefacts and manuscripts, along with over 1,000 books.

Look out for a life mask of Beethoven, a 1920s X-ray machine made of wood, steel and rubber, and a dress illustrating neural development. These are just a few of the surprises you can experience in the Reading Room.
