Sigmund Freud’s former home and garden in Hampstead offers an extraordinary and memorable setting for private celebrations, corporate events and special occasions.

At the heart of the Museum is Freud’s iconic study, preserved as he left it, complete with his world-famous psychoanalytic couch, original furniture, books and remarkable collection of antiquities. Guests can experience these historic rooms and collections as part of their event, creating an atmosphere that is truly unique in London.

Built in the elegant Queen Anne Revival style, the house offers a collection of characterful and atmospheric rooms alongside a beautiful private garden, surrounded by mature trees and greenery. The garden also holds a special place in the Museum’s history: Freud spent time here with family and friends during the final year of his life and celebrated his last birthday here in May 1939.

Together, the house and garden provide a wonderfully versatile setting for drinks receptions, wedding receptions, corporate events, dinners, away days, book launches, filming and other private occasions, accommodating up to 90 guests.

A marquee can also be arranged in the garden at an additional cost, offering further flexibility for events and receptions. External caterers are welcome, allowing events to be tailored to your individual requirements.

The whole house was amazing and an interesting museum. Wish we could have ended the party at 12.00 instead of 11.00 The food was rushed as the live music.

We had a great time at the venue. The staff were very helpful, friendly and flexible, in particular Daniel and Francisco. They enable us to plan the party ourselves. The garden looked beautiful with lovely flowers. I would recommend the venue to everyone who wants a cozy venue for a small party.
