Looking to impress your clients with a unique meeting space? Searching for an utterly romantic wedding venue or somewhere special to hold your birthday party? How about a historic sailing ship, right by London Bridge?!

With intimate and atmospheric spaces, The Golden Hinde offer competitive hire packages as well as regularly creating bespoke events for our clients. Our team works closely with you to create an event that is creative, memorable and personal.

Previous events include film-shoots, weddings, private parties and corporate events. We're also famous for our entertaining children's parties!

Hire of The Golden Hinde includes the following spaces:

THE HOLD - The main space below deck. This is our most flexible space and can accommodate up to 80 people. It is also one of the two areas on the ship which is licensed for a wedding ceremony to take place.

THE TOP DECK - provides stunning views over the Thames and an exciting and unique space perfect for drinks receptions, displays and much much more.

THE GUN DECK - where the CANNONS are kept! Highly atmospheric and the kids love it!

THE OFFICERS' CABIN - With its grand table and 'captain's chair', this intimate room is suitable for events with up to 20 people. It is also one of the two areas on the ship which is licensed for a wedding ceremony to take place.

Cancellation policy

Standard 60 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 60 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price.

Guests may cancel their Booking between 60 days and 30 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.

Cancellations submitted less than 30 days before the event start time are not refundable.

Guest may move the event date of a confirmed booking to another date within 12 months from the original date, at no cost.
