The Court Room at Vintners' Hall

About this space

The Court Room is one of the oldest continuously used meeting rooms in the City of London.

The room contains a fine painting of St Martin Dividing his Cloak with the Beggar, after Van Dyck, first mentioned in the archives in 1702-3, and portraits of Charles I, Charles II, Mary II, Prince George of Denmark (the Consort of Queen Anne), Robert Shaw, Master in 1636, and Sir Thomas Rawlinson, Master in 1687 and Lord Mayor in 1705.

The Court Room is only available for private dinners and lunches up to a maximum of 50 people.

As we are reopening Searcys venues, we make sure that each space gets
accredited with “We’re Good to Go” industry standard, launched by VisitBritain, UK’s
national tourist board.

This means that each venue adheres to the respective Government and public
health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checks we have
the required processes in place.

It is fully supported by Meetings Industry Association (MIA) that encourages event
venues to apply for consumer-facing accreditation.
