About this space
The Garden at Eastway Baths is a large outdoor space in Hackney Wick with its own outside bar. It takes around 150 standing and seats 50 on chairs, with room for about 100 on beanbags and grass for outdoor screenings. Books in four-hour blocks, afternoon or evening.
Add the staffed outside bar or a BBQ to your booking. Facilities include tables, chairs, and picnic benches, a table tennis table, and a Bluetooth speaker system that guests connect to themselves. A marquee on site covers the weather, and the Hall can be booked alongside as full indoor cover if the forecast turns.
Used for corporate summer parties and away days, garden and day parties, BBQs, drinks receptions, birthdays, outdoor screenings, wedding receptions, and the outdoor half of a whole-venue takeover.
The garden closes at 10pm — music off and bar closed — so it works best as a daytime and early-evening space. It's outdoors, so we always discuss a wet-weather plan when you book.
Availability is limited through the summer. Step-free access via platform lift, and 8 to 10 minutes' walk from Hackney Wick Overground.
Prices
The staffed outside bar, BBQ options and catering are add-ons on top, quoted to your plan. Simple Bluetooth playback needs no tech fee; anything bigger does.
Two things worth knowing: the garden closes at 10pm, music off and bar closed, and it is an outdoor space, so we always agree a wet-weather plan. There is a marquee on site, and the Hall can be added as full indoor cover.

Host rules
● No smoking or vaping indoors. Smoking and vaping are permitted in the garden only.
● Capacity must not be exceeded: up to 300 standing or 150 seated.
● Any damage to the space, equipment or fixtures will be charged to the hirer.
● Decorations must not be fixed to walls, ceilings or fittings in any way that causes damage. No confetti, glitter, smoke machines or pyrotechnics without prior written agreement.
● All music and amplified sound is subject to agreed finish times and venue sound limits.
● Technical requirements must be confirmed with the venue at least 7 days before the event.
● Use of in-house sound, lighting and AV is by arrangement; only venue staff or approved technicians may operate venue equipment.
● The space must be left clear of the hirer's own equipment, decorations and waste at the end of the hire.
● Access is step-free via a platform lift; please tell us about any access requirements in advance so we can prepare the space.
● Children and under-18s must be supervised at all times.
● The hirer is responsible for the conduct of their guests and suppliers throughout the booking.
