About this space
A classic 'village hall' with oak-beamed high ceilings and period sky-level windows. The space comes with direct access to the beautiful Wisteria terrace, with views directly onto Rotherhithe's picturesque 'village square' and St Mary's Church.
Price:
- Community private hire and charity rate: £30 per hour
- Commercial and public sector rate (incl. birthday parties): £40 per hour
There is fee of £50 for out of hours (evening and weekend) opening and closing for one-off hires. The deposit is £100, in cash or cheque.
Suitable for: Parties, church groups, children's activities, larger meetings, yoga, exercise, all-purpose activities.
Capacity: Dependent on the layout requested. Maximum capacity is 70 standing.

- Tables: 6-foot rectangular fold-up tables x 12 and small children’s tables x 2
- Chairs: Padded banqueting chairs Blue & Silver x 35 (15 chairs without arms) and plastic chairs (green/blue) x 16 and small kids plastic chairs: green x 15, black x 15
Please note: A minimum hire of 4 hours at weekends for one-off hires is required. The terms of our lease stipulates that the premises must be fully vacated by 10pm. Additionally, for health and safety reasons, we cannot allow bouncy castles on site.
Access to the Wisteria terrace is included in the price; however, the doors to the terrace must be kept close if there is amplified music.

Beautiful outdoor garden space with pergola and direct access to Russell Hall (subject to additional booking). Overlooking the leafy Old Churchyard park, St Mary's church, Rotherhithe Village, and our edible garden.
Dimensions: 4.5m x 17m (curved) x 13m x 14m approx. (150 sqm approx)
Suitable for: Outdoor space for all outdoor activities. A marquee can be pitched here.

Our available Booking Hours are Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 20:00 (with exceptions at our discretion; the premises must be vacated by 22:00).
