Because we are a Gluten-Free restaurant, we cannot allow external catering in our kitchen. However, buffet food can be brought in and served at private functions with advance approval.

The bar staff were very friendly and the venue is in a good location in Camden
The event was very disorganised. When we showed up to view it which we had arranged they weren't expecting us and the contact showed up late. We were assured everything would be to the standard when we had the event but on the day when we got there there was left over decorations from other parties and the venue was disorganised/ messy and we had to move things around ourselves. We had been assured we could play our own music but it wasn't set up properly so took ages and a lot of effort to connect as the cable wasn't working.
The staff were friendly but the cocktails they made were not very nice and no options for draught beer. Quite overpriced for bottles and cocktails/ shots out of plastic cups. The bar staff also kept making the most expensive drinks when not always being asked so the bar tab shot up. There was a a lot of food but it was very fried and quite fast food like (although we didn't order off a certain menu in time so that might be the reason for that).
Overall, it just felt pretty unprofessional and quite disorganised and I didn't feel super satisfied after we paid so much money to rent out the space.

I had booked a private event at Studio 48 Bar and paid £520 in advance (£400 drinks package + £120 venue hire).
Unfortunately, the venue double booked my event and cancelled on me, which was extremely disappointing in itself. But what was more alarming was that they didn’t reach out to me themselves to flag, it wasn’t until I reached out the week of the event that they told me this (baring in mind I had booked in Jan for a March event). Leading to me having to make other last minute arrangements elsewhere.
While they did acknowledge the mistake and agreed to issue a full refund, it has now been almost two weeks and the money still hasn’t been returned.
I have had to chase multiple times without a clear timeline for repayment.
Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them is what matters. At the moment, this has been handled poorly and has caused unnecessary stress.
At this point, I cannot recommend booking here, as there seems to be a lack of reliability and accountability when issues arise.
