The Great Hall has a maximum capacity of 1000 standing people. This space is perfect for ticketed performances, music rehearsals, conferences, large private event, filming & recording.
The hall has a large main stage and a retractable seating bank.
Depending on the hire purpose, we can provide amenities such as a duty manager, a duty technician, dressing rooms, bar facilities and use of chairs, music stands, conductor's stand, a podium and limited number of small tables.
Prices
Rates are negotiable for block bookings.
Registered charities, voluntary and educational organisations may be eligible for reduced rates.
Base pricing for private events:
Day rate (12 hours): £5185
Minimum hire (6 hours): £3272
Additional hourly rate: £424
3-hour session for rehearsal, filming & recording: £1284
Please enquire about ticketed performance pricing, as it includes a Box Office set-up fee of £142 (all ticket income is subject to 12.5% Box Office commission).
