About Stuart Hall Library

Stuart Hall Library is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

In a quiet corner of Pimlico, the Stuart Hall Library is a specialist visual arts library operated by the Institute of International Visual Arts (iniva), a London-based not-for-profit organisation that creates space for Black and Global Majority artists and communities by nurturing creative practices and expanding the ways we understand art, culture, and society.

The library houses a non-lending collection of more than 10,000 publications, including artist books, monographs, exhibition catalogues, journals, and zines. The collection focuses on Global Majority, African, Asian, Caribbean, Polynesian, Latin American, and diasporic perspectives, alongside iniva’s organisational archive.
