The UN Association UK has a beautiful event space available for lectures, panels, roundtables, book launches or report launches for up to 60 people in a historic building in the heart of Westminster. Our function room "New York" can be laid out theatre style for these events, and we also offer a roundtable room "Vienna" for board meetings, workshops or working lunches.
We are housed in the historic Whitehall Court, a building with a rich heritage which was home to figures such as George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells, and served as the headquarters of the Secret Intelligence Service until the end of World War I. We are less than five minutes' walk from Embankment station and easily accessible from Charing Cross and Westminster. A small and beautiful park behind the building offers a space for a riverside walk or a lunch break if you're holding an all day event, or we can provide catering within our space.
We are a charity dedicated to the principles of the UN, and we offer great value rates with special discounts for charities.
It's the perfect place to attract people working in the Whitehall and Westminster areas including parliamentarians and government officials, if you are a charity or a thinktank wanting to increase the policy influence and impact of your work. Recent bookings have included a policy lab with the British International Studies Association and a refugees-focused event with United Against Inhumanity. We've also been delighted to be used as a location for filming interviews with members of Parliament.
