About Drawing Room

Drawing Room is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

Drawing Room was founded by curators Mary Doyle, Kate Macfarlane and Katharine Stout in 2002 and is part of Tannery Arts CIO charity. As 90% of our income is self-generated, Drawing Room relies on the support of individuals, organisations and trusts, alongside the funding we receive from Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation. We are indebted to our Drawing Circle and Drawing Room Network Members and to the many artists who donate drawings to our Biennial Fundraising exhibitions.

FAQ

The venue has automatic doors, level flooring, and a hearing loop.

The hire includes a reception area and the Community Studio, which can be used for interviews.

We do not have our own catering available, but external catering is permitted from registered and licensed companies such as Pret, Waitrose, or independent caterers with the right paperwork. Groups also often order a tea and coffee service; hot water and crockery are provided, but all ingredients must be brought in.

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Drawing Room does not offer catering.
