Amazing venue for our birthday!! Everything was perfectly handled from booking till party completion, Elijah was a massive help and so lovely during set-up and the party itself and also to help collect gifts afterwards. Great communication throughout and lots of options for customisation! We made a request to do karaoke through the Spotify lyrics and even managed to sort that out, all of our friends had a such a good time, we definitely would’ve rented the space longer if we could! 💛💛💛

Better still, it provides you with exclusive use of a private venue, so you're free to be yourselves and do whatever you please... NO-ONE telling you to wrap it up, tone it down or wind it in, NO randoms wandering through your event, and NO awkward side-eying strangers in the bathrooms. Moot has a fabulous soft drinks bar (BYOB welcome!) and a range of free-to-play competitive socialising games, from ping pong and table football to basketball and retro arcades.

The main room features a stage, big screen, great sound system and lots of flexible space. We've hosted everything here from birthday parties to photoshoots, book launches to bar mitzvahs, team awaydays, creative workshops and company parties. The space can be broken into three rooms for break-out groups and working sessions, and the main room can be reshaped in all sorts of ways, from classes and working groups to large scale launch presentations, meetings and creative sessions. It's an unusual space. A space like no-other.

And three days a week we give this space over to workshops & events for local teenagers, with 'Moot Youth' and giving young people somewhere safe and inspiring to connect, IRL. So EVERY hire of this venue helps to fund the continuing access to a safe & inspiring space for a generation of young people.

FAQ

Yes, the venue has a large selection of non-alcoholic drinks available to buy over the bar, but clients are also welcome to supply their own.

The Plus Package includes popcorn and slushies, which are always a hit with kids; there are usually two flavours to choose from or mix together.

No, there is no minimum age policy, as long as the person making the booking is over 18 and responsible for the safety and behaviour of their guests.

The venue has a good sound system; it is not soundproof and is located above a busy restaurant, but noise has not been an issue.

Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.

At Moot, the following catering options are available:

  • Bringing your own catering/food is allowed
  • Bringing your own alcohol is allowed
