Team was super helpful and kind! Helped me set up, lit my cake for me when I was ready and gave me advice on how best to run the event. Lee the bartender was so sweet and got along so well with my guests, all in all had a great night.
Space gets very hot! Luckily I didn’t end up having everyone turn up at the same time, but the AC unit only covers a small part of the room. Also ceiling is quite low as it’s in the basement

I think the venue is great - it was decorated for our Halloween party. The location was obviously amazing as well. It was a lovely space and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
I’m not sure if this was mentioned during the booking process and I missed it, but the AC was broken. And with 35 people in a small room underground, it was way too warm. I’m not 100% sure if the space should be booked during this time because it made it uncomfortable. We were struggling to hit our minimum spend which I was surprised about but I also felt that the numbers we were being told throughout the evening, were a little inconsistent between staff members - which worried us a little bit. I believe one of us asked for a printout of what had been spent on our tab and they weren’t able to provide it, which I don’t think helped. I do also think that part of the reason we were struggling to hit the min spend was because people were queueing up for drinks for close to 30mins a time. People were also going upstairs to get drinks because of the long wait and how uncomfortable warm it was.
