Lloyd's House boasts an impressive top-floor event space featuring original heritage features from the 1867 cotton warehouse, including a pitched ceiling, fireplace, exposed brick walls, wooden floor, and a beautiful bay window with views of Manchester Town Hall. The space is furnished with contemporary furniture, lighting, and top-of-the-line AV equipment, making it an ideal venue for a variety of events.

At CityCo and Manchester BID, the health, safety, and well-being of our staff and event guests are of utmost importance in the wake of Covid-19. We have implemented new ways of working based on up-to-date guidance from the government and industry bodies to ensure a safe environment for all. Our measures include adjusted room capacities, flexible seating and presentation layouts, full risk assessments, staff wellness checks, enhanced cleaning protocols, hand sanitizing stations, disposable face masks, clear signage, and dedicated event coordinator support.

We kindly request that guests refrain from visiting our venue if displaying any symptoms of Covid-19. Our commitment to safety has been recognized with Visit Britain's "Good to Go" certification, indicating that CityCo is a Manchester venue that meets government and industry Covid-19 guidelines for cleanliness and social distancing.

We can cater for a range of meetings and events from 2 - 60 in The Shipping Office, The Cotton Room and The Sorting Room. Whether it’s for a small conference, seminar or training session, pitch or presentation, celebration or away-day, bring your colleagues to a truly impressive, heritage venue.

Our event and meeting spaces are on the top floor of Lloyd’s House overlooking Manchester Town Hall. The building has a fascinating history. Designed by the architectural practice of Speakman & Charlesworth in 1867, the site was originally for the Manchester Shipping Office and Packing Company Ltd. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
